Annual Fraser Island Tailor Season Weigh-In
This event was held on August 1, 2016. It was a charity fundraising event, which raised funds for Queensland RACQ Careflight Rescue Service. The event was opened to all ages old and young.
The Barber of Seville – Opera Queensland
Project Rossini was a big, ambitious project where Opera Queensland worked with 8 Queensland communities for finding and training local performers for the 2016 tour of The Barber Of Seville. During the project, about 250 Queenslanders learnt how to sing opera in Italian, dance fandango & perform in new international touring production of The Barber Of Seville. The aspiring performers from 8 communities had the chance to audition for a coveted spot. The event was held on August 3, 2016.
The show Broadway Babes, which was held on 5th August 2016 had featured some greatest songs from Broadway & Beyond. It overflowed with showstoppers & showgirls. Their enthralling special guest made the event a memorable one for everyone.
Hervey Bay Seafood Festival
This event occurs every year. This year it is going to be held on August 14. The event celebrates the sea with the abundance of Hervey Bay as well as the variety of seafood from waters of Fraser Coast.
